Beloved Rascals Strategy #6: Brief Rule Practice

Selecting from WBT’s Classroom Rules (Intermediate Menu), the teacher assigns a rule gesture that the student needs to practice at recess.  The student chooses 30, 60, or 90-second practice.

Correcting Wild Jack’s behavior will be more effective, if you give him a choice about how long the correction should last.

Surprisingly enough, reports from WBT pilot programs indicate that students choose 60 seconds of practice more often than 30!
