Try A Woosie With Your Woo!

If your students use the 10 finger woo to reward each other for excellent effort in the classroom, you can make this even more entertaining with a woosie.  Students receiving the woo should cross their hands over their hearts in delight and say, "oooh!"  This shows how wonderful they feel being rewarded by their classmates ... and it brings brief, but extra merriment to the  celebration.  Even my college students, love the woosie.  And if all this is gobbledegook ... download "Teaching Challenging Elementary Students" from our downloads page.
